To support daily operations and site projects across in one or more logistics functions (such as transportation and warehousing)
Ensures internal and external customers' expectations and requirements are met
Works within assigned functional discipline to assist with improvements in common functional processes and tools.
Maintains updates and accuracy of information documented in functional databases, websites, etc.
Assists with management of assigned projects.
REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Supply Chain Knowledge.
Inventory Control And Management.
Relationship Management- Develops rapport, builds trust, and creates value in relationships.
Project Management - Familiarity with the basic elements of each area of knowledge and its relevance to Project Management.
Solid understanding of how to establish plans.
Basic awareness and understanding of network design and analysis.
Basic understanding of freight optimization.
Domestic and International Transportation - has an awareness that there are regulations, process, required documents, and options with transporting materials domestically and internationally.Warehouse operations - basic understanding of warehouse operations.
Some knowledge or awareness of innovation.
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, presentation) to all levels of the organization.
Ability to learn, analyze, and understand business and technical processes.
Attention to detail.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Effective team work and multi-tasking skills.
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Logistic or Supply Chain.
