As a Thermal & Fluid Systems Simulation Engineer you will:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams who are responsible for developing the final product, including test, design, and analysis.

  • Be exposed to multiple phases of the development cycle such as exploratory work or engine development close to production launch.

  • Utilize engine models to size and optimize engine components, including turbochargers, valve train, power cylinder, intake and exhaust manifold, intake, and exhaust throttles etc., to meet engine performance requirements.

  • Collaborate with testing and validation engineers to develop validation test plans for engine systems and subsystems to meet performance requirements.

  • Work closely with controls engineers to assist the development of accurate control strategies for aftertreatment thermal management and powertrain.

  • Leverage tools for data analysis and enhancing modelling capabilities.

  • Analyse engine performance and derive key conclusions from simulation results.
