Controls Engineer

Join us in the clean energy goal at ACCELERA by Cummins, the new Electrolyzer Site in Guadalajara, Spain.

In this role, you will make an impact in some of the following ways:

• Develops all aspects of control systems, equipment, and machinery.

• Develops and designs control systems; develops and implements bench tests; alters software and equipment to ensure that sensors and actuators are functioning according to specifications; supports and debugs complex problems and change requests.

• Prepares cost estimates; compiles required cost and equipment information, and writes and reviews appropriation requests.

• Investigates problems and requirements of projects, and develops plans for solutions in line with economic, personnel, and environmental considerations.

• May be responsible for the installation and technical support of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based hardware and software.

• Coaches and mentors less experienced Controls Engineers.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Education: College, university, or equivalent degree in Engineering required.

• Experience: Intermediate level of relevant work experience required (minimum 5 years)

• Languages: Very fluent level of english (C1 Cambridge equivalent)

• Experience connecting tools and equipment with the CMES

• Skills: Action oriented, Collaborates, Communicates effectively
