About the role

Our Scoresby office is currently looking for a 12 month full time Analyst Intern commencing late January 2019 who is keen to utilise theoretical skills learnt in their degree and develop practical skills in the workforce. This is a unique opportunity to gains skills and knowledge while you are working full time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the roll out and implementation of the latest generation of business intelligence tools (Power BI)

  • Implement barcode scanning within the warehousing environment

  • Participate in the South Pacific Network Study

  • Implement KANBAN process for manufacturing consumables

  • Improving Inventory Accuracy (Cycle counting and Annual Physical Inventory)

  • Improve Bill of Material (BOM) Accuracy

  • Create work instructions for required builds

  • Support Material Planning functions across all Business units

  • Actively participate in Safety, Community and team activities.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Currently in your penultimate year (with a minimum of 1 full semester of study remaining) studying an undergraduate Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or I.T., relevant functional discipline

  • Excellent communication skills

  • A confident, outgoing individual who will seek out necessary information in order to achieve set outcomes

  • An organised self-starter who can show outstanding initiative

  • A team player with a flexible attitude towards their work

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and have an aptitude for picking up new systems quickly

This is a 12 month, full time, paid placement and the successful candidate will be required to defer their studies for the duration of the program.
