That’s what #LifeAtCummins is all about.We are looking for a talented Manufacturing En gineer - STW to join our team specializing in manufacturing for our Components Business Segment in Seymour, IN.

This is an onsite position. Work schedule can vary as needed to accommodate the student's regular school schedule.

Request that successful candidate work a routine schedule up to the STW limit of 19 hours per week, and no less than 15 hours per week. There is room for flexibility when needed, but we request that a routine workweek be maintained as much as possible.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • This is an onsite role to assist the Seymour Engine Plant Manufacturing Engineering team (Assembly, Test, and Machining) with a variety of projects, including equipment documentation, support of special projects, plant layouts, etc.

  • Utilize ACAD for layouts.

  • Organization / generation of machine documentation.

  • Audit labeling all special tools (SEP Tool Nos.)

  • Assist with Process Qualification Plans.

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.

  • Pure Safety task execution.

  • Quality groups to support manufacturing projects.

Qualifications

  • Works with peers, skilled trades and support staff to maintain and identify equipment in need of repair.

  • Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet business goals.

  • Health and Safety Fundamentals - Champions and models proactive health and safety behaviors by identifying, reporting and participating in actions to improve health and safety in order to build an interdependent culture and contribute to an injury-free workplace.

  • Ensures accountability - Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments.

  • Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams.

Hourly Pay : $14.81

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
